1. What we text you

Reminders and updates about your student's college application essays in the Admitted California portal:

These are not advertising texts. We will not use this program to send promotions or to sell anything.

2. How often

Message frequency varies. While essay drafts are unfinished you may receive up to one reminder a day, plus updates about a review when something happens. Reminders stop on their own once the essays are submitted for review. We only send between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Pacific time.

3. Signing up

You join by entering a mobile number and ticking the consent box on our text reminders sign-up page or in your Admitted California account. The box is never ticked for you. Signing up is optional and is not a condition of any purchase.

You must be the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission. A student under 18 is signed up by their parent or guardian, who consents on the student's behalf.

4. Stopping texts

Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT) to any message. You'll get one final text confirming you've been unsubscribed, and no more after that. To rejoin, sign up again on the sign-up page or reply START. You can also ask us to stop by emailing jim@admittedca.com.
